MaGO PR landed the Agency of Record assignment for Long Beach Pride 2026. The independent shop will lead a multicultural and multilingual communications campaign across Southern California.
Long Beach Pride draws over 125,000 attendees annually to its waterfront festival and parade. The 2026 campaign marks the event's continued expansion in the region's second-largest LGBTQ+ market after West Hollywood.
MaGO PR's scope covers visibility and outreach programming leading up to the May 2026 festival weekend. The agency's multilingual capabilities align with Long Beach's demographics: 45% of city residents speak Spanish at home, according to Census data.
The win positions MaGO PR in the Southern California Pride circuit alongside agencies working the LA Pride and San Diego Pride accounts. Independent shops have secured the majority of West Coast Pride communications work over the past three festival seasons, displacing holding company agencies that previously dominated LGBTQ+ event marketing.
Long Beach Pride organizers did not disclose whether the assignment was competitively pitched or if MaGO PR was directly awarded the work. The agency's founder, Marco Gonzalez, confirmed the partnership on LinkedIn April 7.
The 2026 campaign launches publicity efforts this month, six weeks ahead of the May 17-18 festival dates. MaGO PR will coordinate media relations, community outreach, and sponsor activations across Los Angeles, Orange, and San Bernardino counties.
