FutureDeluxe designed, directed, and produced the live launch event for Volvo Cars' EX60 model. The 50-person London studio created a digitally generated Swedish landscape for the reveal. AKQA partnered on the project.
The work marks FutureDeluxe's second major automotive launch in six months. The studio produced Jaguar's Type 00 concept reveal in December 2024. Both projects used real-time digital environments instead of physical sets.
Volvo Cars ran the EX60 launch on March 22, 2026. The digital landscape replaced traditional venue staging. FutureDeluxe handled design, direction, and production. AKQA led the broader campaign strategy.
The studio's automotive client list now includes Jaguar, Volvo Cars, and Porsche. FutureDeluxe worked on Porsche's Macan EV launch materials in 2024. All three brands used the studio for electric vehicle introductions.
FutureDeluxe operates from London with offices in Los Angeles, New York, and Shanghai. The studio focuses on motion design, 3D animation, and real-time production. Founder and Creative Director Matt Pyke leads the 50-person team.
The Volvo EX60 is the Swedish automaker's next electric SUV. Volvo Cars plans to sell only electric vehicles by 2030. The EX60 launch represents the brand's fifth all-electric model.
AKQA has worked with Volvo Cars since 2019. The WPP-owned agency handles digital strategy and campaign development for the automaker's global markets. The EX60 launch campaign runs across digital and social channels through Q2 2026.
