Honey took home 3 Gold and 1 Silver ADDY at the AAF Sacramento awards for 'Only By Train,' a campaign created for Capitol Corridor Joint Powers Authority.
The agency partnered with KJ2 Productions and 3fold Communications on the work. Capitol Corridor operates intercity rail service connecting the San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento, and Northern San Joaquin Valley.
The campaign promoted the passenger rail service through creative highlighting travel experiences unique to train transit. Capitol Corridor Joint Powers Authority oversees the 170-mile route serving 18 stations across eight counties.
Honey's wins came in a regional field competing across categories including integrated campaigns, video production, and transportation marketing. The American Advertising Federation's ADDY Awards recognize creative excellence at local, regional, and national levels.
The Corridor Joint Powers Authority partnership marks Honey's ongoing work in public transit marketing. The agency has built a practice in transportation accounts requiring both brand positioning and ridership conversion.
Capitol Corridor carried 1.7 million passengers in fiscal year 2023-24, according to the authority's service reports. The route competes with highway and air travel options between major Northern California employment and population centers.
The 'Only By Train' campaign launched in 2024 and runs across digital, social, and out-of-home placements along the Capitol Corridor route. KJ2 Productions handled video production. 3fold Communications managed media strategy and placement.
AAF Sacramento's ADDY Awards took place March 22, 2026.
